Aquastreak: Water Reminder

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-18

This page mirrors the current policy published on the Google Site for AquaStreak: Water Reminder. It describes how the app collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the app.

1. Scope

AquaStreak is a wellness and habit-tracking app. The app can work locally on-device, but some features use third-party services for authentication, subscriptions, analytics, ads, diagnostics, reminders, and optional weather-based hydration recommendations.

2. Summary

The current production build uses Supabase, RevenueCat, Google Play, Firebase Analytics where enabled, Sentry, Google AdMob, native Google Sign-In on Android, Expo local notifications, and Open-Meteo weather endpoints for Smart Hydration goal suggestions.

3. Information We Collect And Process

In addition to account, hydration, reminders, subscription, and diagnostics data, the app processes weather recommendation data for Smart Hydration, including temperature, humidity, weather code, suggested goal value, manual fallback city name, and notification deduplication state.

Weather-goal analytics events (`weather_goal_shown`, `weather_goal_applied`, `weather_goal_dismissed`) include only weather metrics and suggested goal values, without location coordinates.

4. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect

  • Contacts
  • Photos or videos
  • Audio recordings
  • Precise location as a stored profile field or analytics field
  • SMS or call logs
  • Remote push tokens for a cloud push-notification service
  • Payment card numbers or bank account information

For Smart Hydration, the app may request location permission to fetch weather conditions. Coordinates are used for weather requests only, are not persisted in the local weather cache, and are not sent to analytics or diagnostics providers.

5. How We Use Your Information

Information is used to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, store hydration data, process subscriptions, schedule reminders, calculate optional weather-based hydration goal recommendations, measure analytics, detect crashes, and show ads.

6. When And How Data Leaves Your Device

Data may be sent to Supabase, RevenueCat, Firebase Analytics, Sentry, AdMob, and local notification systems depending on the feature used.

When Smart Hydration is enabled, weather lookups are sent to Open-Meteo over HTTPS. The app does not persist precise coordinates in its local weather cache and does not send coordinates to analytics.

7. Sharing And Disclosure

The app does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers, or when required by law or needed to protect the app and its users. Service providers include Supabase, RevenueCat, Google services, Sentry, and Open-Meteo for weather recommendations.

8. Retention

Data is retained as long as needed to provide the app and meet legal obligations. Deletion requests can be sent to the support email listed in the source policy.

9. Your Choices

You can manage notifications, reminders, subscriptions, hydration entries, and account-linked features through the app and device settings.

You can also enable or disable Smart Hydration, apply or dismiss weather-based goal suggestions, and set a manual fallback city when location permission is denied.

10. Security

The app uses reasonable safeguards such as secure session persistence, backend access controls, event redaction, reduced personal data in analytics events, and HTTPS-only weather API usage. No method is completely secure.

11. Children

AquaStreak is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. International Processing

Service providers may process data in countries other than the one where you live.

13. Changes To This Policy

The policy may be updated from time to time, and the effective date at the top will change when it does.

14. Contact

Questions and deletion requests can be sent to namadaapps@gmail.com.
